To experience Odysseus’s island wanderings, one only needs to sail to Ugljan and the Čeprljanda cove. It is a place where you can truly feel the island through its scents and sounds, as a piece of land completely detached from the mainland – a place where you discover who you truly are. Yesterday, I experienced that exact moment, the kind that sparks poetry and inspires you to dig deep within your soul.
On June 6, 2026, my 21st solo exhibition, titled “The Island’s Sigh” (Uzdah otoka), officially opened. I have exhibited 10 of my graphic prints, which can now be viewed right here on this website.
The opening took place in the beautiful and relaxing setting of the Bičikleta beach bar in Čeprljanda cove on the island of Ugljan. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the evening was further enriched by the promotion of a poetry collection by poet Senka Bračić, alongside a concert by the talented young musicians from the Franjo Lučić Art School in Velika Gorica. All these events beautifully intertwined and complemented each other. Thank you to the wonderful, large audience who shared this magical evening with us to the soothing sound of the sea.
